Desynchronization of an external clock generated by AO channel.

Hello,

I've set up a multiplexed acquisition with a 6071E card.
I drive a multiplexer thanks to ao0 and in the same time I generate a external clock on ao1 that I've wired to PFI7. I use that clock for my acquisition on 16 ai channels. Signals on ao0 and ao1 are perfectly synchronized.

My problem is that after running several hours, my acquisition shift of one or more points.

My clock might get a extra rising edge on the external clock signal, It is my only explanation of the phenomena for the moment.
This can be caused by interferences on the external wiring.

- I wanted to know if there is any way to connect my ao1 with PFI7 (or others) in order to avoid physical wiring?

- Or is it my acquisition and timing that is not well configured?

- Perhaps it is also caused by the too numerous points for the output buffer that the card has difficulties to manage?

Thanks

Yop!
