Diadem dat-file to be read by Tecplot: dat != TDM?

Hi all,
I am using LabWindows/CVI as well as Tecplot (which is a software for producing charts and plots). Tecplot can import Diadem files, but they must be of type "dat". I like to use the TDM data file format within LabWindows/CVI as it has many advantages and I thought that this is "the" Diadem file format. But Tecplot can't read the TDM files. So my question is: What is the Diadem dat file format and how can I create it (with the available functions in LabWindows/CVI)?

Thanks

Hello,

please have a look at this thread. It contains a documentation about how the DAT header and datafiles are organized.

regards.
