Differences between 5.5, 6.0, 7.0 and the upcoming 7.1 ?

I just recently upgraded from 5.5 to 6.0 and might have to do some more CVI projects soon. I
couldn't find the ni.com page with the differences/updates except for 6.0.

The only issue I have so far is that the size of the installer files jumped from 1.5Mb to more
than 4 Mb for a simple "Hello World" program between 5.5 and 6.0.

Hi,
the best source is the readme files and release notes in the help for each version. That will tell you what changes have been made.

Feb 2000 is 5.5
July 2003 is 7

Version 6 was released with Measurement Studio to start with, so try here for that ones release notes

As for the possible upcoming version - time will tell!!! Keep an eye on the website for information as it is released.
