Displaying Japanese using CVI 8.1

I need to create an applicaiton that must have a few user prompts or simple messages in Japanese but I am using an english version of MS Windows XP. I have downloaded and installed the MS Japanese language pack ie_ja.exe which allows me to display Japanese from MS applications such as Word or Wordpad but did not seem to make any difference with CVI. What do I need to do to display Japanese in things like MessagePopups?

I'm afraid I cannot help you more than this as I'm not using japanise or similar languages in my activity.
