Does CVI offer built-in functions for reading/writing configuration (.ini) files?

I know LabVIEW 6i offers a set of built-in, Config file functions that are a subset of the regular File I/O functions. I was wondering if CVI has something similar. i am using ver. 5.0 currently, but will be switching to 5.5 soon.

Yes, there is an INI file instrument driver available under cvi\toolslib\toolbox\inifile.fp. You can load the library in CVI by going to the Project Window and selecting Instrument->Load...

I only add that it's not necessary to switch to 5.5 to use that instrument, since the inifile.fp is available in 5.0 version too.
