Does the CVI 2010 SP1 download link work?

Solved!
Go to solution

The file downloaded from the SP1 link seems to be the non serviced pack version. After the "install" which proceeded way too quickly, the Help >>About still shows LW/CVI 2010 Version 10.0.0(360). Am I missing something or am I just too early?

Hello,

There have recently been some changes made to the download experience at ni.com.  To get the latest download for CVI, please visit ni.com/downloads.  There you should find the LabWindows/CVI 2010 SP1 download.

Let me know if you have any trouble,

Hi Nick,

Is there a list of 2010SP1 fixes or an update of the list of known issues (dated 28/3) ? It will be most welcome Smiley Wink

Navigating from there I get a new file (size is different 438 MB and the readme says SP1). I don't remember the path to my last attempt but the link for SP1 went to a page that gave me a 131 KB downloader.exe file and eventually lead to a non SP1 file at  ~ 388 MB.

FYI - NI Update Service did not find this service pack either. I tried this first.

Wolfgang - you just beat me to it 🙂  They should be updated now.

blakney - Service Pack updates will only be available through Update Service 2.0, and they will actually not be available through Update Service 2.0 for another month or so.  There are some issues we're still trying to work out to make sure the Update Service experience is good for everyone.
