Driver/example for sound card

Hello,

I want to use the sound card of my PC for doing analog I/O. This seems to be an easy and cheap demonstartion of DAQ-capabilties for a group of students during their programming and measurment laboratory work.

Where can I get the drivers or (prefered) a code example?

Hello

NI does provide drivers you can use with NI data aquisition devices to get data using CVI, LabVIEW and Measurement Studio, but to aquire data via a sound card, you might need to look into using some of the API's that microsoft provides, like mci strings or DirectX

Its not easy, but it should work.
