Editing a project causes project tree display to reset display settings

Hi,

Could you please check if you can re-create the same effect (I can observe same behavior both on CVI 2015 and 2020):

• Right-click the project name on your project tree and select Edit Project... menu item
• Edit Project popup appears
• Add/remove files to/from your project
• Click OK to close the popup
• Project tree display properties revert to some different format (I use dark background and yellowish font color, it becomes white background with black and different font types)
• Restarting CVI fixes problem

I tried it, and mine did the same (v2020).

I think maybe it's because the project changes have not been saved.

I switched to another project then back again, and the project tree looked normal again.

Thank you for confirmation.

This is not a project setting. It is an environment setting.

So it should stick.

I think that's a bug. But I didn't check whether it is a known issue or not.

Maybe someone from NI will clarify.
