Error Code -10401 ?

First I am not familiar with the LabWindows/CVI product.
From what I can see so far I'm getting and error from NI-DAQ DOS function 8004, Error -10401. I can seem to find any references to these numbers.

The software controls a lab instrument. It was working up to this point, but now the software stops at the beginning with the above error.

Can anyone help?

From NI-DAQ Help (Programs >> National Instruments >> Ni-daq >> NI-DAQ Help):

-10401 unknownDeviceError The specified device is not a National Instruments product, the driver does not support the device (for example, the driver was released before the device was supported), or the device has not been configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer.

As the unit was working before this error would the following problems be likely?:

The driver is lost or corrupted?
The device configuration has been lost or corrupted?

In either case what would be the fix?

Never mind. I fixed the problem by poking around in the board configuration utility.
