Error to execute *.exe files

An error message is appeared (see attached file) when I try to execute a .exe file by using LaunchExecutable or LaunchExecutableEx. What can cause this error?

Are you able to launch calc.exe via the command line without using CVI? Which version of CVI are you using and on which OS. I tried this with CVI 7.0 and XP and calc seems to work fine. Make sure you have updated your OS to the newest service packs as well.
