Error when creating DLL

When I install a DLL created by CVI relesee 6 I always get the following popup message error:

"Error appliying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid..."

Hi Steph,
Can't answer your question directly, but I've seen that kind of message too... I saw it when I was trying to uninstal a copy of Labview, and I kind of recall that the problem had something to do with the length of paths keys in the registry had... The fix was a little exe from NI that went through and deleted specific registry keys separately to the main uninstaller...
Maybe not too much help to your problem, but maybe suggests a registry type error?

A few questions about your distribution kit that might help diagnose it further:

- what language are you building your distribution kit with?
- what is the OS and OS language that your are installing the distribution kit on? Also, please be very specific on what locale you have set in the OS (such as French-Belgian, for example).
- if you build the distribution kit in English, does the problem still occur?
