Error while intalling CVI5.5 under NT4

The Installation Program from LabWindows/CVI 5.5 breaks with the error
"Severe: General file transfer error. Please check your target location
and try again. Error Number: -3 "
I use NT4.0 SP6 and was loggt in as administrator.

Recently, I tried to install CVI on my notebook with WinXP Pro., and get same error message. can anyone help?

Hello Xen,

First make sure that all previous installation processes are complete before trying to install CVI. Make sure that all other Windows applications are closed. Then try copying the contents of the installation CD to your hard drive and installing from there.
