Errors Handling Tips

Hi basically I have task to enhanced the error handling in software.

Can someone give the common errors to check for  when dealing with embedded hardware and CCA card. The interface we are using is GPIB

. I wanted  to start at least by incorporating the basic error handling control bus issues, read write etc..... so can someone point me in the right direction.

Hey Darnell,

Could you give us some more background as to the hardware that you are trying to interface with and your overall application? It sounds like you are using the NI 488.2 drivers to communicate with a device. Could you expand on what you're looking for?
