Font change in distribution kit with CVI 7.1

I have already read the post -

My question is:

The program which compiled by CVI 7.1 can not show correct chinese font in Traditional Chinese Win98 system, but can show in Win2000/XP.

I write a test program using "FontSelectPopup" and run it under Chinese Win98. It can see the chinese font in font list, but can not show correct sample text.

Can I use the cvirte.msm (download from the reference post) to solve my problem?

Hi,

The latest .msm with those fixes should already come with CVI 7.1. Unfortunately, we stopped support for Windows 98 starting with CVI 7.1, and so any isssues in the 98 environment are no longer supported. My apologies for the inconvenience, but you might want to either revert to CVI 7.0 and install the .msm or upgrade your operating system to a newer platform.
