Funny characters in text of this ma

this is an example of characters that keep appearing in the postings:

"           
    VAL_FIRST, VAL_NEXT_PLUS_SELF, VAL_SELECTED,
&index);"

basically, ampersand- characters 'n', 'b', 's', and 'p'. terminated with ';'
This repreats by the truckload, even in simple massages.

It is rather annoying. What is wrong with my news reader settings? (windows
outlook express).

The NI Discussion Forums are mirrored to and from NNTP newsgroups.  The web interface on the forums enables users to format their text with a WYSIWYG editor.  Oftentimes, the formatting gets lost in the translation of the text as it is mirrored to the news readers.  Unfortunately, the only resolution to this would be to participate in the forums from the web interface instead of from a news reader.  This is how the vast majority of users interact in the community.  The URL to the web interface is http://forums.ni.com
