(Hex ox BFFA000C) Attribute ID not recognized

I am running the IVIDigitizer sample in LabWindows CVI 2015.  The sample is under Most Recent File.  I have configured a logical name under NI MAX and created a session.  I am using the NI PXIe-5114 Digitizer.  When I run I get the following non-fatal run-time error during Initialization,

"IviDigitizeru.c, line 487, col 5, thread id )x00001564

Function IviDigitizer_GetAttributeVi32: (return value ==

-1074135028 [0xbffa000c]).

(0xbffa000c)

IVI: (Hex )xBFFA000C) Attribute ID not recognized.

I have attached my exported MAX Configuration file  and a screen capture of the error.

I am running under Windows 7.

Hi Herbfes,

Could you provide a screenshot or snippet of your code?

Thanks!

It is not my code. The code is the sample provided by NI under Help.  It is located at c:\Users\Public\Documents|National Instruments\CVI\Samples\IVI\IviDigitizer\IviDigitizer.cws.  Attached is the .c file.

Hi herbfes,

I see that you have created a service request for this issue.  I think it would be best if this issue was worked on through the service request rather than the forum.  I will post a solution to this forum once the issue is resolved.

@cmuss

I looked up the service request that was created as per the original post for you. It looks like they discovered the NI IF Digitizers driver he was trying to use works with our RF Digitizers card. Because he was using the PXIe-5114 Oscilloscope, he needed to use NI-SCOPE as the driver for his card

Additionally, IVIDigitzers is created to support IEEE 1671.2-2008 while NI-SCOPE has additional features that are specific to our products.

Let me know if this info helps!

Thank You,
