How Send string to ortificial vision device by TCP Know only IP and gate

hello

     I try to send a string to a artificial vision device, in hyperterminal I can do, but I dont Know how do in CVI 8.0.1. the device IP is 192.168.0.10 and the port is 8500 but this is all information I know. I see the functions of  "TCP Support library" but I don't knok how use

My CVI 7.0 has a sample TCP/IP program suite at C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVI70\samples\tcp  . They should give you a very good idea on how to proceed.
