Hi, I use Traditional Chinese and LabWindows/CVI to develop programs. There were no problems in everything when I use CVI 5.5 and 5.0. But now I use CVI 6.0, I cann't see the correct Chinese string in the input field of function panel. Can I change the font of the input field of function panel? Can it be done by add some registries in Windows just like change the dialog font or menu font?
I'm sorry, but I have heard about some issues we have with Chinese font in 6.0 for the function panels. I do not know of any way that you can change that font at this time.
Unfortunately, in CVI 6.0 you cannot change the font of the function panels and/or their controls. We are strongly considering making this font user changeable for our next release.
I can see Chinese in the input field of function panel after I kill modern.fon in Windows FONTS directory. It seems that CVI 6.0 try to use modern.fon as the default NIEditor metafont. If CVI 6.0 can not find this font, it will take another font (just as TTF font) as substitution. I hope to see the next release which can set all user desired font as soon as possible.
