How can I get windows messages such as WM_POWERBROADCAST?

Can anybody tell me how to get a hold of windows messages? I need to handle a slew of them including WM_POWERBROADCAST but can not figure out a clean way to get these messages.

There is a CVI example that demonstrates this. You can find this under ..\CVI\Samples\toolbox\msg_demo.cws
