How can I make my own Ethernet frames

Hello

I'm trying to compile a cvi project with the winpcap library, but I can't.  Instead of using winpcap files, I think it would better if I can make my own ethernet frames, using my own data and protocol (neither TCP/IP, nor FTP, nor whatever).  Can I do this with CVI?
