How do I print data to a spreadsheet?

The data is acquired from a LabVIEW controlled signal optimization program that is automatically stepped to the next signal. I need to print the readings at each step.

Hello,

There are several examples that ship with LabVIEW that demonstrate how to perform different types of File I/O during your acquisition. In LabVIEW 6 go to Help >> Examples >> Fundamentals >> File I/O. You then have the option to learn about different types of files. Most users save their data in ASCII format. If you go to "ASCII File Examples", you can investigate the different ways to save your data to disk. You can also look at the "data logger examples" for Data Acquisition, which will give you more good ideas on how to "stream", or continuously write, data to disk.

I'm sure these examples will get you started in the right direction. Good luck with your application, and have a pleasant day.

Sincerely,
