How does the function "AnalysisLibErrType Correlate (double arrayX[], int sizeX, double arrayY[], int sizeY, double outputArray[]);" work?

Dear all:

      When I use this function to find the correlation of two input arrays X[33112] and Y[16537], it will cost 4 seconds.

Then I try to write this function by myself using the formula:

y_i = 0 when j < 0 or j m, x_i = 0 when j < 0 or j n(supplied by NI Labwindows/CVI Help),

it will cost about 3 minutes. Could you tell me, with what method, Can I save the time as the Advanced Analysis Library function "Correlate"?
