How to acquire an image from webcam in my LabWindows/CVI appication

I may need to acquire images continusely from a webcam beside our experiment system. I can use the third party driver for the webcam. How can I get the operating functions and acquire pictures from it? Are there any examples code in the ansi C of Labwindows/CVI?

Hi Puppy,

It depends on what webcam you are using and whether the manufacturer provides a C programming API to be used with the camera. A few people have posted to the discussion forums in the past with this sort of query. I have posted a few links to these threads below.
