How to control camera by labwindow/cvi?

Hi,All.

I am using Labwindow/cvi 7.1 and windows2000.

The question is how to get the video streaming or a picture from a usb camera?

Should i use Microsoft DirectShow Video capture application

or                  Windows Multimedia Video Capture

or                  Just use CANVAS control?
