How to use/open a .fp file created using Labwindow CVI5.5 with CVI5

I have downloaded a instrument driver for Sorensen DLM series power supply. This driver is for CVI 5.5 and above. But i have CVI 5. When I load this driver i get the message "Not a valid function panel file". What is the best way to over come this. Do I have write the driver in CVI 5?

You can't. You can open in in CVI 5.5 and save it as CVI 5.0 format, but you can't open in 5.0 unless someone saves it in the old format.
