I wonder if the LabWindows/CVI 5.5 is equipped with a hyperthreading optimised compiler? If it's not, is there an upgrade for it?
Does the latest version(6.0) has it?

The CVI compiler is not optimized for hyperthreading. And we do not have any plans to add this optimization for future releases as well.
Thanks
