Can you post some more information on what you are doing exactly. For example what version of CVI, what function calls you are making. This information is needed for us to help you effectively. If you can post a small snipped of code that replicates your problem, that would be best.

Thank you for the response.  I downloaded and installed the VISA run-time engine and it seemed to fix the problem.  I'm running the demo version of the CVI.  It seems the VISA was installed incorrectly or not at all.  In any case the software is now working.
