Hi dpastor,

Check out the
Installing the IVI Compliance Package for multiple versions of LabWindows/CVI KnowledgeBase as I think that might help you out.

If that document doesn't help, let me know.

I have a similar problem as dpastor. I had a existing project, with CVI 7.0, But recently, I upgraded my PC, so I re-installed my CVI, and my project does not link any more. The errors points to link errors due to ivi related functions. I use a old version of the ivi library, ivi 1.83. I installed that into the system, still it does not seem to find it.

Any suggestions?

Regards

Hi stanjest,

What version of CVI did you just upgrade to? Does this mean you now have multiple versions of CVI installed on your computer or did you upgrade to CVI x.x on a different ? If so, what versions do you have? If you have CVI 8.5, you should have the IVI.lib file in the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\CVI\Bin\msvc directory. If you are using CVI 8.1.1 or earlier, they should be in the <CVI>\bin directory.

Just let me know what state you are in.
