Installation problems

Hi,

I"m trying to install the software on a system were a previous installation of a program has done using a deployment. It, however, has not been activated yet.

Without any removing of this installation I began to install a CVI 7.0 software. I get errors of different *.cab files (being corrupted).

1) Is this error related to my previous installation?
2) Is it necessary to do any uninstall before a new installation of CVI+TestStand?

Thanks
Rafi

Hello,

You should not have any problems installing CVI unless there is the same version already on the machine. Then you will just go into the Modify process for CVI.

Can you tell me a little more to help me with your problem?

What version of CVI do you already have installed?
What version of CVI are you installing?
What are the errors, be more specific, and include any error numbers provided?
When you say a distribution not yet activated, what exactly are you talking about? We do not require activation on a Distribution created with CVI.
