Installing Measurement studio for labwindows

Hello,
I'm using maesurement studio's activeX in Labwindows/CVI. It works fine until I've installed IVI compliance package 2.2, then each time I open a .uir which contains this kind of ActiveX, I've the message : "You have 30 days to evaluate Measurement studio....".
Then I tried to use the MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer in order to fix that problem but the activeX I use (User Interface controls) doesn't appear in it.
So I tried to reinstall Measurement studio (7.1, I've a license for MStudio 7.1 too) and on one hand I always have the same problem under Labwindows/CVI and on the second hand only "3D graph control 7.0" (that I don't use) appears in the MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer.
I don't understand anything anymore and I need some help. Thanks.

Hello

Which Measurement Studio package (Standard, Pro, Enterprise) are you using? And which controls are generating the license errors?

Hello,

I'm using the Entreprise package of Measurement studio and I'm using CWKnob, CWSlide and CWIviDmm activeX controls. All these controls provocate the problem.

Moreover, I get the license not from my computer but from the network, perhaps that's the reason why the MeasurementStudioLicenseFixer doesn't work.

Measurement Studio does not use the license manager for the activex controls. Try uninstalling Measurement Studio 7.1. Don't reboot. Go to the windows system32 folder and unregister cwui.ocx  and cw3dgrph.ocx using regsvr32 from the command line. After it is unregistered, delete the file. Reboot and install Measurement Studio again.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

in fact, after trying what you have suggested, I've realized that the installation of MStudio activeX controls wasn't provided by MStudio installation but by Labwindows installation. That's logical because I don't have neither Visual C++ nor Visual basic. So i've uninstalled labwindows/CVI after uninstalling properly activeX controls but I've always the same result. Moreover I have again the problem I've got before (see http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=180&message.id=17116) but now, even a reinstallation does nothing. It's really a mess...
