Is MAX 2.0 here to stay?

Hi,
We are developing (Updating) or CT drilling software using Labwindows CVI. This has been, and will be very "high profile" monitoring software to be used not only in Alaska but many other places in the world. I would like very much to use MAX 2.0 or equivelent to set up and scale the transducers. It has taken a lot of the coding work away. Is it here to stay? Can I use this as my means of scaling and mapping my transducers? Or should I build a similar interface in the software?

MAX is definately here to stay. In the future the CVI hardware API's will integrate more and more with MAX.
