Is there a way to "Save As" a workspace?

Hi,

Workspace is always saved to the same directory where the project is loaded from...

How can I save it to a different location?

Hi Rafi2003,

I think there is a very simple way to do what you want. Just use the "Save as" option [ File >> Save As] and then change file type to "Workspace (*.csw)"

Is that what you need or did I misundertand your question ?

Hi Mathieu,

I don't understand from where you selected "Save as"......I'm looking at the CVI environment and I want to save the existing worspace to a different name in a different directory.

(I tried to paste the window picture, like you did, but I don't know how to do it.....cut and paste does not work...)

I get:

Save .....prj as...

Save Workspace

Autosave Workspace

and that's it!

What am I missing?

Hi Rafi,

I misunderstood your question.

I also didn't manage to save a workspace "as". Why would you need such functionnality for ?
