LabWindows editor setting: linewrap?

Is there a way to set the editor (LabWindows 8.1.1) to specify how many characters are displayed on a line before wrapping? For example, when inserting a funtion from a function panel the function parameters often wrap to several lines.  Sometimes coding standards specify maximum characters per line,  or depending on display in use may want to support more or less on a line to minimize scrolling.

TotalAJ,

Unfortunately there is not wordwrap feature currently incorporated into LabWindows/CVI, even in the newest version (8.5).  The best course of action at this point is to file a Product Suggestion which will then get submitted to our R&D department for consideration.  Your input in this process is helpful since they will be aware of the desire for such a feature and they can keep track of how many people have requested such an update.  If there is a large enough demand we may see this feature implemented in future versions of CVI.

John,

The wrapping only occurs if inserting a function from a function panel.  What gets inserted is dependent on the size of the function panel, so if you have selected "Release All FP Windows" then only about 68 characters can be displayed per line and parameters automatically get wrapped.  If you have selected "Confine All FP Windows" then no wrapping occurs (maybe it does if the list is long enough so it doesn't fit on one line in this much larger view of the function panel).

Thank you for the product suggestion link.

TAJ,

I think I better understand your problem after your last post. Unfortunately the answer is the same, I don't think we can customize this as you desire at this point, so I would say that filing a Product Suggestion is the best course of action.  Thanks for your input!
