Labwindows 7.1 IDE freezes while typing?

I've noticed that occaisionally, the LabWindows IDE will freeze up on me while I'm typing in code. It prevents me from typing.

I was able to track the freeze to the IDE by monitoring processes via ProcessExplorer, and the LabWindows IDE was the only process that showed a CPU spike.

What's going on in the LabWindow's background that could be causing this?
