Hello,

I have a problem with CVI.

This is the error msg "Could not get CVI .NET error description. A .NET Framework version 1.1 or higher, or the CVI .NET modules may not be installed on your system. If not already present, install the required .NET Framework. Then repair the CVI Runtime Engine installer."

I have labwindows 2010, .Net Frameworf 4.0 and i i install labwindows run time engine.

Can you help me please?

Are you installing CVI for the first time? Upgrading? Debugging an app?  Installing an app? Did it work before? What changed? What operating system?

It's not the first time that i use CVI.

I'm using win7 64bits.

I take my code in other computer it works well.

Could you help please?

Sorry, but it is still not clear what your situation it.  Are you saying that you get this message when starting to debug one specific project in CVI, but if you take the source to another computer with the same version of the CVI IDE installed, it works fine?  And what action triggers the error?

If i use to open my code in my computer i have this error:

But while i take my code to an other computer (with the same CVI version and .net and Run time engine) it's OK no error.

So the conclusion is that i have a problem in my computer but how can i resolve it?

I doubt that I will know the solution to your problem, but I'd suggest posting exactly what versions of the .NET framework you have installed. See here for how to find that.

I'd also suggest comparing .NET versions with the other computer to see if you can find the issue.

The version of .Net in my PC is 4.6.2 and in the other one where i can run my code is 4.6.1.

This is the version in my computer by regedit: 

On Windows 10 Anniversary Update: 394802 On all other OS versions: 394806

Have you tried downloading .NET 4.6.1 for the PC with .NET 4.6.2? From the LabWindows help file: "if you install the .NET Framework after you install LabWindows/CVI, you must then reinstall LabWindows/CVI or repair the existing LabWindows/CVI installation."
