Legal issues involved in distributing CVI RTE

What are the legal issues involved when distributing an application relying on the CVI RTE engine ? Is the engine freely redistribuable or does NI claim royalties ? Is there any official - electronic - document stating NI's policy about that.

The CVI Run-Time Engine is freely distributable with your executables and dll's. National Instruments claims no royalties associated with this engine.

Hi Fabien,
Rest assured that the CVIRTE engine can be freely distributed. As far as I'm concerned NI does not "claim royalties" on it nor do we communicate in writing the fact that it is freely distributable. It's just been that way for more than 5 years.
