Mesa.dll could not be found

After getting GPIB-ENET/100 working on my system, went to run Labwindows and immediately got the following error: "Mesa.dll could not be found" I checked and it is located in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\Mesa. Not sure what to do, nothing works now.

Hi,

There are a couple of things to test, first try opening CVI by double clicking on a project file; different from the one that CVI is loading. It is possible that the specific project that CVI loads automatically is causing the problem.

If this does not helps, then you can go to the Add/Remove Programs applet, select NI software and repair the installation of CVI. This process makes sure that all the required files are up and running. this should fix any possible issues with the actual DLL.

Please give this a try and let me know how this goes.

Hi Juan,

The second option you recommended fixed the problem (repair thru add/remove programs applet).

Many thanks !

good luck with your project.
