Since you wish to use the NI-DAQ functions directly I am assuming that you will be programming in a text-based language. For specific help on the NI-DAQ MX functions check out the �NI-DAQ MX C Reference Help� document located in Start->Programs->National Instruments->NI-DAQ->NI-DAQ MX C Ref. If you wish to use Traditional NI-DAQ you can pull up the �Traditional NI-DAQ Function Reference� by following the same path as noted above.
If you are using CVI you can open and run the attached example. If you are using Visual Studio then there will be examples located in Start->Programs->National Instruments->NI-DAQ->Examples->Visual C++. If you do not have these examples then you can run the NI-DAQ setup again and select to install the support files. Hop
