Hello,

I've been facing this issue once I installed new PXI hardware. The Issue doesnt appear in old hardware. The return value explains that "The feature specified has a design under NI-CAN which cannot be made compatible with NI-XNET CAN hardware.

I have no XNET installed for old hardware.

According to NI, installing "NI-XNET Compatibility Library for NI-CAN" should solve the problem of compatibility.

Am I missing anything or anyone has any idea regarding this issue?

A few questions:

• What hardware are you using, both new and old (please indicate which is which)?
• What programming environment are you using and what version?
• What particular function is throwing the error and for what hardware?

Also, please make sure the NI-XNET Compatibility Library is installed.  This KnowledgeBase article also explains the compatibility capabilities.
