OPC client demo - error 0X80020003

Hello,

I am trying to run the OPC Client Demo program and i am getting error 0x80020003.

It looks like that i am able to connect to the server but something fails when reading the tag.

I am able to read this OPC cerver with the NI Server Explorer v.2.4.1 but it fails with the demo.

Please advise if i need some patch or some W2K update (I have SP4 installed).

The CVI OPC Client Demo program uses DataSocket and it seems like you might have an incompatible version of DataSocket on your machine. If your machine has CVI installed, try repairing the CVI and CVIRTE installation from the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel item to make sure the versions of DataSocket and CVI modules are compatible. If you do not have CVI installed on this machine, make sure you distribute "DataSocket Support" when you build the Distribution Kit in CVI.
