I've been saying the same thing for years now, with no response.  It's about time NI did something about this.

it will be patched into the next release, along with the Deterministic Computer-Aided Brain-Managed Universal Thought-Programming Tool. (they also promised there will be a LabView VI to interface with this stuff).
