Popup menu ring

I'm using a popup menu ring with too much data to be displayed like a traditionnal menu.So, a panel appears but the current item in the panel is not the same as the current in the ring.It seems not to work only with POPUP menu ring.I don't have the same behaviour with others rings.Is it normal ? Thank you

I was able to replicate this, I think this in kind of normal. Usually the popup menu is for the user to select somthing 1 time, where as the regular menu ring constantly shows the user what the selection is.

Another option here would be to use a regular ring or to create your own panel for the popup menu ring.
