I am continually getting the 'blue screen of death' when attempting to install nidaq 6.9 and/or cvi5.5 on a windows NT pc with service pack 6. I heard sp 6 was buggy so I tried with 6a and am getting the same problem. Should I be using a different service pack? Is 6/6a too new? I have installed these apps lots of times and never had a problem. The new service pack (6/6a) is the only change from the other times
Just FYI, I have tried installing NI-DAQ 6.9 and CVI 6.0 with SP3 and SP5 on three different machines and have always been successful. I've also heard from other engineers that SP6 is unstable and most people have switched to SP5.
