Produce a 3D image

Hello all,

I am wondering if any of you have experience with 3D rendering.  What I am trying to do is produce a 3D image from sequential 2D data sets.  Is this possible?  I have been playing with the shipping vi's 3D code but am confused about the axis.  I also noticed that that the Z component seems to be shaded, but I want to take the 2D data sets and stack them...the same way you can make a cube out of sequential squares.

Thanks,

Azazal

Hi Azazal,

You may way to consider using OpenGL from Silicon Graphics. It is available for download here.

There is also an OpenGL example for CVI titled Rendering 3D Images using OpenGL
