R6030 - CRT not initialized.

In release configuration I get "R6030 - CRT not initialized" error at application launch.  However, In debug configuration I have no such error.  I am using CVI 10.0.1.   I have just  installed the latest Microsoft Visual C runtime distributable with no effect.  Any thoughts here would be appreciated.

This error comes up a lot, and unfortunately, there are countless causes (you can see this when you do a search for R6030 on our forums). Typical causes that are relevant here are security software and build configurations. Are there any differences between the debug and release configurations? What happens if you launch the debug executable from Windows Explorer instead of through CVI? Can you try disabling any security software on your system, and try running the executable as Administrator if you are using Vista or Windows 7.

Also, do you have any non-CVI dependencies in your project? Does this occur for other applications (like the CVI shipping examples)?
