I'm using an NI4351 DAQ card under LabWindows 5.5.1 on Win 98SE. This card has both analogue and digital channels. Is it safe to process an analog and digital channel simultaneously from two parallel program threads, or can this lead to unpredictable results? I don't know if thread-safe variables apply in my case because I only write to the digital lines from one thread while scanning the analogue channel inputs from the other thread. Any clarification would be appreciated please.
