Strip chart bug ?

Hello all,

SetTraceAttribute (panel, PANEL_CHART, 1, ATTR_TRACE_VISIBLE, 0);
doesn't seem to work under Linux, the strip-chart trace stays visible.

Or maybe it's an attribute that appeared in 8.5 ? (my Linux version is still
8.1, when is the new Linux version coming out ?!?)

Hello Guillaume,

I tested ATTR_TRACE_VISIBLE on SUSE 10.3.  While, my trace did go invisble, it did not do so consistantly.  Part of the trace would disappear and then a second later the rest would.  It was similar with making it visible again.

This was reported to R&D (# CAR 134617) for further investigation.  Let me know if you have any additional information you would like me to add to the CAR such as your distribution and version of Linux.

Thanks for your feedback.

That's similar to what I experience... in its inconsistencies:
- the first time I noticed it, there was no effect (the trace would draw).

But then I must have changed something since now the effect is that it
stops/resumes tracing (which is not the same as hiding the entire trace, the
behavior I get on LW 8.5 on Windows).

This is acceptable for now, even if I'd rather have the same behavior as
LW8.5 for Win.

I'm using RedHat Entreprise Linux.
