The order of the files in the project list of CVI6 becomes mixed each time I start CVI. Is this normal ?

I use the new 'workspace' feature to toggle between different projects. But when I close CVI and open it the next day the sequence of the files in the project is mixed. I can not recognize any 'system' behind this. Is there an option to stop this ?

I have looked into this issue and unfortunately cannot reproduce your problem. However if this behavior continues, and is a serious issue for you, please feel free to contact NI at http://www.ni.com/ask and include as much of the workspace exhibiting this problem as possible.

Are you talking about the order of the .prj project files when you go to File >> Set Active Project or the order of the .c, .h, .fp, .uir files within a project?

You can change the order of the .prj files from the project window by selecting Edit >> Workspace >> Move Up (or Move Down). I haven't seen the order of these files change on its own.

You can change the order of the files listed in a project from the project window by selecting View >> Sort By (whatever). This order may change based on what Sort By you choose. E.g. Sort By Date will show the most recent at the top of the list. I don't know what No Sorting does.
