Trying to color a command button

I am new to using LabWindows/CVI. I was given a UIR file. When I use it, it opens up LabWindows, and shows the display with some buttons. I want to change the color of one of the buttons. When I right-click on it I get the "edit" pane, including the "quick edit" window. I clicked on the paint brush, then on the button, and the color changed from the original color to grey. Now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it back to the original color, or change it to the color I want it to be. Help!

In the UI editor, select the paintbrush tool, then right-click on the control you want to paint and select a color. You can also paint it in the same way in the quick edit window in the control editor, but you can do it directly in the UI editor.
