Tutorial for generating a DLL for VB6 from Labwindows?

I used application note 207 to generate a DLL from LabWindows/CVI. When I try to access this DLL from a Visual Basic 6.0 program I get an error. It appears from the tutorial that this tool is for ANSI C use. Is there a tutorial for generating a DLL for VB6 from Labwindows?
